AlphaVols provides volatility analytics, option research, backtesting, and risk tools. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and how to contact us about privacy questions.

Information We Collect

We collect account information such as your name, email address, authentication identifier, subscription status, and billing entitlement status. We may also store app activity needed to provide the product, such as saved backtests, saved portfolios, monitor positions, preferences, and administrative access records.

For security and reliability, we may log technical information such as login time, IP address, hostname, user agent, request metadata, and application error details.

Payments and Authentication

Authentication is handled through Auth0. Payments and subscription management are handled through Stripe. We do not store full payment card numbers on AlphaVols systems. Auth0 and Stripe may process information according to their own privacy and security policies.

How We Use Information

We use information to operate the service, authenticate users, manage subscriptions and manual access, provide saved application features, troubleshoot issues, protect against unauthorized access, and communicate about service or account matters.

Data Sharing

We do not sell personal information. We share information with service providers only as needed to operate AlphaVols, including authentication, payment processing, infrastructure, security, support, and analytics services. We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the service, users, or others.

Retention

We keep account, billing entitlement, saved app data, and security logs for as long as needed to provide the service, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, and protect the application. We may delete or anonymize information when it is no longer needed.

Security

We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards designed to protect information. No internet service can guarantee absolute security, but we monitor access and maintain logs to help detect and investigate suspicious activity.

Your Choices

You may contact us to request help with account information, saved data, or subscription records. Some information may need to be retained for security, billing, legal, or operational reasons.
